GenerationGo! - The WIOA Program at CRYROP

GenerationGo! is an employment program designed for out-of-school young adults, ages of 17 - 24 to develop and jump-start career plans. We focus on career planning, employability and occupational skills training, work experience and leadership development.

Participation in program activities is expected and necessary to be successful, but GenerationGo! is not a class that you attend every day like school. Instead, you will work one-on-one with an Employment Placement Specialist to develop career and personal goals, connect with occupational skills training or college, participate in professional and personal development workshops and attend special events designed to promote employment and education.
The GenerationGo! program provides:
  • Career exploration and planning
  • Work readiness and employability preparation
  • Assistance with occupational training and college
  • Paid work experience and incentives - about $2,000 for each participant!
  • Personalized assistance with, job search, employment application and interviewing strategies
  • Interview/work clothing, safety equipment, bus passes or gas cards
  • Leadership development - workshops, peer mentors, college visits, conferences
  • GED, HiSET and high school diploma completion is available, if needed
  • And much more!
CRY-ROP's GenerationGo! team works closely with local businesses to provide practical, meaningful paid work experiences… that often lead to permanent job offers!
